Kids in the Garden
“Make-It _ Take-It” FUN!!
Bring the kids or grand kids! Start them on their way to becoming the gardeners of the future in our fun kids “Make-It _ Take It” Garden. This colorful space has games, demonstrations and a variety of fun activities for children of all ages. This activity is planned throughout the entire 4-day show.
Meet Professor Pricklethorn
He will introduce you to the secret lives of trees and through his green-coloured lenses, you will clearly see trees in a different light. An ISA certified arborist and self professed arborfessor, Professor Pricklethorn, will show you that trees are just not green landscape furniture. The Professor will help you discover the many invisible benefits that can be gained by planting and caring for trees in our towns and cities.
Butterflies _ Bugs
Butterfly Conservatory – Orkin World of Butterflies arrives this spring to provide families and kids of all ages a wonderful place to learn about butterflies, and bugs. See butterflies from all over the world, and view 100′s of different varieties of tropical bugs.
